SiteWatch watches over all of your network sites, no matter how remote. Locally it checks continuously for any of the signs that could lead to a system failure.
These are signs such as:
· Microwave signal levels
· Internal temperature
· Humidity
· Moisture ingress
· Mains power supply
· Battery status
· Generator fuel levels and oil quality
· Air handling and cooling systems
· Weather: wind speed, temperature etc
Trends
If any of these key factors move out of operating norms, SiteWatch automatically informs you of the problem via SNMP to your network management centre, via email, voice message or even via SMS. Potential failures of the microwave link, batteries, air conditioners and other equipment can be flagged before failure actually occurs.
System Testing
The system also allows back up systems, such as generators, to be test-started to ensure that they will be ready if needed. This can be done regularly and automatically with only tests that fall outside of pre-set thresholds being reported. |

Site Inspection
SiteWatch provides direct access to on site cameras for visual inspection. So if the weather station has reported high winds, the site can be inspected for any potential structural damage. If there has been high rainfall, the cabin can be checked to make sure that there has been no ingress of water.
SiteWatch can eliminate the need to visit the site in person.
User Experience Testing
SiteWatch operates as a remote test handset. This means that if subscribers report a problem in a particular area, you can check out their experience directly. Access to voice mail, SMS and GPRS operation can all be tested. |
